I Remember so distinctly when i was at each of those phases Myself...

I started my first business at 19 in my parents' living room, ZERO intention of actually starting a business and no clue what I was getting into.

Before I knew it, I was registering a business name, signing a lease and hiring staff.

Suddenly, 5 years passed, 8 employees on the payroll, piles of bills, tax headaches, no savings, still seeing clients 5 days a week and no clue what to do next.

I didn't realize it then but I was extremely burnt out, struggling with imposter syndrome and i’d be lying if I said I didn’t consider closing more than once..

Fast forward, I live at the beach, only work on what brings joy in the business, have a wildly self motivated team and I'm in the salon 1-2 days a week.

(Yes it doesn’t make you a bad business owner for enjoying your life outside the salon)

How? I prioritized myself and set up systems.

I owed it to clients and my team to work on my self limiting beliefs and let go of the idea that I had to do it all myself or it wouldn’t be done well.


(I’m sure you can relate to that one)

Trusting others was tough, but oh so worth it. My team thrived with more responsibility too - win win!

Now, I'm drawn to help other salon owners set up their business for seamless success from the get go, or redefine how they want their businesses to work for them now.

After all, what's the point of working so hard if we can’t enjoy our life outside of work?
